ARG has a long history of helping energy companies meet their permitting needs. Some of ARG’s most complex, multi-year projects have revolved around natural gas and oil pipelines that span several eastern prairie and midwestern states, such as:
- Rockies Express (REX-West and REX-East)
- Keystone
- Keystone XL
- Keystone Cushing Extension
- Northern Border
ARG has surveyed over 100,000 acres for hundreds of coal mining permit areas in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. Coal mining areas that ARG has surveyed are illustrated in red in the map to the left.
Other energy-related projects ARG has been involved in include transmission lines and power plants using hydroelectric, nuclear, and biodiesel energy.
